G. Scott Munn , DVM - Dr. Munn was born and raised in Cary, N.C. He attended Briarcliff and Farmington Woods Elementary Schools, Apex Middle and Apex High School. Graduating from Wake Forest University in Business Administration he worked several years before going back to school at NCSU and ultimately graduating from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Immediately following graduation Dr. Munn received advanced training during an internship in Medicine and Surgery at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virgina Tech University. It is this advanced training that helped hone his skills and interests in Canine and Feline geriatrics, ultrasonography, dermatology, and soft/hard tissue surgery.
He lives in the Apex/Cary area with his wife and two young sons, a dog named Toby and cat named Ricky. You may see him driving around with Ricky on his neck! Dr. Munn's other interests include acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, fishing, and gardening. |
